If it’s Wednesday, then it must be time to take pictures.

On Wednesdays, I tend to find free time to make photos. So, today I tried to make photos of the variety I most enjoy shooting. I started off the day picking up a bunch of tulips and shooting close-up shots near my office window. Really shallow depth of field and over exposed a couple of stops to make them as soft as possible.

At lunchtime, I walked around the inner harbour and made multiple exposures of the newly arrived tourists.

Finally, after work, I headed down to the water to shoot long exposures. An extreme low tide exposed the bleached out tree roots overlooking Trial Island.
More long exposures

Not a bad way to spend some free time and I get to shoot work portraits over the next two days as well!
