Neighbourhood noire

As the light dims

The light has been flat all day. As night approaches, there is a threat of rain. Wandering the neighbourhood looking for any light, finding little. The world resolves into flat shapes, silhouettes against the darkening sky. Reason enough to make a few photos.

NB: Images captured with the Fujifilm GFX 50s and GF63mm f/2.8 lens.

  1. It looks like you are exploring a different sort of seeing. Really love the mood!

    • Thanks for reading and looking Olaf. As we have discussed, light is the primary ingredient for a photo. If it’s low light like this, then look for the shapes, look for the silhouettes. There won’t be much detail.

And sometimes I’m in the mood to make photos and the light isn’t ideal, so I look for what’s available.
