An alternate history of found objects
La possibile vertebra della balena che inghiotti Giona, 2007
(The possible vertebra of the whale that swallowed Jonah)
Although not venerated by any officially sanctioned religion, La possibile vertebra della balena che inghiotti Giona was found and classified as a religious artifact by Agnes Moretti who was on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem with the Women of Faith Group, from St. Patrick’s Church, Staten Island, New York.
Upon finding the large vertebra at Coral Beach Nature Preserve, in Eilat, Israel, located on the Gulf of Aqaba at the northern tip of the Red Sea, the artifact was deemed “un miracolo” and “la possibile vertebra della balena che inghiotti Giona” by Mrs. Moretti, who had just completed a three day tour of sacred destinations, which included the Cenacle of David’s Tomb compound–possibly the location of the Last Supper, and possibly where Jesus washed the feet of his disciples–and King David’s Tomb, possibly where the King of Israel was buried, although excavations since the 1800’s have failed to identify the royal tomb.
