Capturing life 120 seconds at a time

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to shoot for a couple of hours in Sidney, B.C. This is a favourite long exposure location and I had pretty good light at sunrise. It’s always a nice treat to slow down to make these images. I should really do this more often!

I used my X-Pro2 and the XF16-55mm f/2.8 lens to make the images. This is the first time I have used the 16-55 for long exposures, as I usually only use it for work. It worked great. I’ll have to think about taking it with me more often and not just relying upon my primes for personal photography.

Some recent announcements from Fujifilm have me looking forward to making long exposures with the new GFX 50S as well. I’m also looking forward to shooting portraits and a few other types of images with the new medium-format camera.

Anyway, pretty much just looking forward to making more personal images no matter which camera I have available.
