Architectural observations of a heritage courthouse

While my job as photographer for the provincial government entails lots and lots of event photography, it also throws up some other interesting opportunities. Recently, I was asked to document the interior of a heritage building in Victoria. The former courthouse was most recently the home of a maritime museum and may one day become an arts hub.

While the two hours I had were not nearly enough to do the building justice, I really enjoyed making these sketches.

NB: Images captured with a Fujifilm X-H1 fronted with the XF10-24mm f/4 lens. All shots were made using available light with some exposures of up to a few seconds.
