On the job: Vancouver 2025
For the past two weekends, I have been photographing the Invictus Games for the Provincial Government. It was an interesting assignment, photographing lots of sports and a concert, events that I normally don’t cover. It was also interesting, as I covered everything with two standard zoom lenses. As you can see from one of the photos below, using a fast 400mm lens is a requirement for this type of photography, particularly if you make your living from photos of Prince Harry.
Here is a very small sample of images captured during the games…

NB: All photos captured with a Fujifilm X-T5 fronted with either the Fujinon XF16-55mm f2.8 II or XF50-140mm f2.8 lens.

You need that Fuji lens, the 200mm f/2. 🤓🥸😎
Jerry, I tried to get my hands on one, without any success. 🤷♂️
As it turned out, the 50-140mm lens did a great job.
