And that’s a wrap
As we leave 2025 behind us, I feel fortunate to have been able to make so many images this past year. Posting at least once a month was a goal for the year and I appreciate how many of you have read and looked at many of those posts.
I have also been fortunate to get out to make photos in December, between really wet weather and other commitments. So, here are a few images made in the past few weeks.
Thanks for looking once again and I wish you a fantastic 2026.

A note about this image: This is one of my favourite locations in town, the promenade between Ogden and Holland points. I return here often to photograph the scene and sometimes the people strolling by. On this dark, wintery day, I wanted to emphasis the isolation of the empty chairs and the symmetry of the three ships on the horizon, that mirror the three chairs.
The image was made with a Mamiya 645 80mm f/2.8 lens and a tilt-shift adapter, attached to my GFX50S II. Using a little tilt to create the photo, further isolates the three chairs.

NB: All photos captured with a variety of Fujifilm cameras and a few Fujinon lenses, plus at least one legacy lens.
